Community Health Worker Liaison

Andrea Manriquez is a compassionate and dedicated Community Health Worker (CHW) with a multifaceted background in public health and social work. With experience as a contact tracer, training facilitator, and a deep passion for social justice, Andrea brings a holistic approach to her work in improving community health outcomes. Having served as a contact tracer in one of our projects, Communities Fighting COVID!, Andrea understands the importance of empathy and effective communication in navigating sensitive health-related conversations. In her role as a training facilitator, for CHW Advancing and Building Community Capacity, Andrea is committed to empowering frontline workers with the knowledge and skills needed to address the complex needs of their communities. Drawing from her background in social work, she incorporates principles of cultural competence and trauma-informed care into her training programs, ensuring that participants are equipped to deliver culturally sensitive and responsive services. Through her tireless advocacy and compassionate approach, Andrea continues to make a positive impact on the lives of those she serves, embodying the values of empathy, resilience, and social justice in her work as a Community Health Worker.
