Sandra D. Briseno-Whizar

Community Health Worker Liaison

Sandra D. Briseno-Whizar is a dedicated Community Health Worker (CHW) with a passion for serving her community. With years of experience as a community health educator, outreach worker, contact tracer and training facilitator, Sandra has become a trusted advocate for Public Health initiatives. She holds a deep understanding of the importance of community engagement and empowerment in promoting wellness. As a contact tracer lead, Sandra has played a pivotal role in controlling the spread of infectious diseases by identifying and monitoring individuals who may have been exposed. Her empathetic approach and effective communication skills have helped ease anxieties and ensure compliance with necessary health protocols. In her role as a training facilitator, Sandra has demonstrated her ability to educate and empower others to become effective agents of change within their communities. Sandra is deeply committed to addressing the unique needs of underserved populations and advocating for health equity. Through her work, she strives to build trust, foster collaboration, and promote positive health behaviors that lead to healthier, more resilient communities, embodying the spirit of compassion and service in everything she does.
