Administrative Staff

Sarah Bond Shepard

Operations

After Sarah spent several years seeking a career path in veterinary medicine, business, and then teaching, she joined the development department of the Vermont Foodbank. She quickly recognized she had a passion for helping others and talent for the administration of raising money. Moving back home to San Diego brought her to ElderHelp where over 10 years Sarah moved from the Executive Assistant to several development department roles culminating in Director of Development. She finally settled into the position of Associate Executive Director directing the agency’s financial, development, and operational activities. In 2012, Sarah joined the staff of Project Wildlife as the Director of Development after several years of volunteer Board service. Soon after, she relocated to Montana, where Sarah worked as the Director of Development for the Montana Wilderness Association, the Director of Advancement for the Montana Community Development Corporation and the Foundation Director for the Immanuel Foundation. Now back in San Diego, Sarah manages operations at the Institute for Public Health at San Diego State University. When not working, Sarah enjoys flying stunt kites at Mission Bay, movies and reading, the San Diego sunshine, and spending time with her loved ones.
