The California Department of Health Services, Cancer Detection Section (CDS) is part of the California Department of Health Services' Chronic Disease and Injury Control Division. CDS manages multi-faceted public health programs for breast, cervical, and prostate cancer.

Children's Services (CCS) is a statewide program that treats children
with certain physical limitations and chronic health conditions or
diseases. The California Department of Health Services
manages the CCS program which is funded with state, county, and federal
tax monies, along with some fees paid by parents.
California Dialogue on Cancer
The California Dialogue
on Cancer (CDOC) is a coalition of cancer
control leaders from throughout the state, formed to design and oversee
the comprehensive cancer control planning process in California. The
coalition includes members of state and local government,
members of the public, non-profit organizations, health, medical, and
business communities, the research community, and cancer survivors, caregivers,
and advocates. The members of CDOC share the vision of reducing the cancer
burden on the residents of California.
