Barbara Fire Department is responsible for coordinating Santa Barbara
County's response to disaster.

With a staff of approximately 300 members, the Department
of Environmental Health (DEH) works as a team to protect and restore the environment for
the health of present and future generations. DEH consists of four divisions:
Community Health Division, Food and Housing Division, Hazardous Materials
Division, and Land & Water Quality.

San Diego Adolescent Pregnancy and Parenting
Program
San
Diego Adolescent Pregnancy and Parenting
Program (SANDAPP) is a San Diego City Schools program, one of
only two programs in San Diego County, providing intervention services
to teen mothers. SANDAPP serves all San Diego County youth (1,500 annually),
including pregnant and parenting teens who are wards of the court and
live at the Salvation Army Haven. Many teens served by SANDAPP are victims
of child abuse and neglect; this is the case for a majority of girls
at the Haven, which serves 40 moms and children annually.
Sex Crimes Unit, San Diego City Police Department
The mission of the Sex Crimes Unit is to conduct fair, impartial, and professional investigations of all felony sexual assaults involving victims 14 years of age and older that occur within the City of San Diego. The goal is to resolve these investigations working with service area investigators, prosecutors, medical professionals, rape crisis advocates, community organizations, and other law enforcement agencies in a problem solving partnership focusing on the criminal prosecution of offenders and the reduction of sexual assault.
