Current Projects

Bridging academic research and actual public health practice is the common
thread of any Institute collaboration. Yet, the subject, scope and direction
of each project varies greatly. Currently, our work can be grouped into
four broad categories: Community Evaluations, Evidence-Based Public Health
Practice, Professional Education and Training, and Maternal and Child
Health Initiative. Select projects are outlined in detail in our Focus
on Current Projects section.
While future projects will likely build upon the skills and expertise
already developed within these areas, new focus areas will be explored
with enthusiasm and energy as they arise. Read on to learn more about
our current experiences.
