About the IPH

Linda Xiong

Linda is an intern at the IPH with a B.S. in Human Development from the University of California, Davis. She is currently pursuing an MPH at the School of Public Health at San Diego State University concentrating in Health Promotion. She has previously done community-based research with the Hmong community in Sacramento. Her ultimate goal is to get her doctoral degree in cancer control research.

Areas of research interest include:

• Cancer control research
• Chronic disease prevention
• Community-based participatory research
• Use of the promotora model in community health promotion
