About the IPH

Diana R. Simmes, MPH

Diana Simmes is a Research Scientist, currently working on the IPH's Maternal and Child Health Initiative. A public health professional, Ms. Simmes' primary areas of research interest are community health, maternal and child health policy formation, and the design and evaluation of prevention programs, particularly programs targeted toward children and adolescents.

Ms. Simmes' content areas of expertise include:

• Community health measurement and needs assessment
• Public policy formation
• Medical error and safety
